Rotary Golf Day - 1st October, 2009

This year on Thursday, 1st October 2009, the Westminster East 9th Rotary Club Golf Day is taking place at the Pine Ridge Golf Club which is located at Old Bisley Road, Frimley, Surrey, GU16 9NX.

We will be incorporating some minor changes to seek to improve on the previous golf days, but the overall friendly format of the past eight charity golf days will remain at the heart of everything we do.

On the day we aim to start gathering around 7:30am with coffee and tea on arrival for a shot gun start at 9.00am, followed by a very enjoyable golf day.

Here is the timetable in detail:

7.30 am	Golfers Registration starts
7.30 am	Breakfast starts: Bacon Rolls & Coffee, Tea
8.00 am	Golfer's Briefing
8.20 am	Golfers make their way to their starting Tees
8.50 am	All golfers are at their starting holes
9.00 am	Golfing Competition "Shot Gun" Start
1.30 pm	Competition finishes
2.00 pm	After having changed competitors assemble for pre dinner drinks in the bar
2.00 pm	Silent Auction is open
3.00 pm	Mid Afternoon Meal Served
5.00 pm	The day's events come to an end!

A range of trophies is to be won such as for individual men, team, yellow ball, individual ladies, nearest the pin and longest drive.

During the golf day a buggy with refreshments will be moving around the course offering a choice of refreshments to the contestants.

After completing the course we will be gathering back in the club main area around 2.00pm for a 3 course meall including tea & coffee.

• Galia of Melon served with Forest Fruits
• Roast Topside of Beef with Yorkshire Pudding & Gravy

Or

• Supreme of Salmon served with a Citrus Butter Sauce
• Bread & Butter Pudding served with Vanilla Custard

During the Meal there will be the following programme:

• The Presidents Tombola (every ticket wins!)
• Presentation of Golfing Trophies and Prizes
• The Grand Draw

Notes:

• Please be advised that the dress code for the meal is “smart casual” (no jeans please)
• In accordance with regulations smoking is not permitted in the dining room
• Choice of main course will be requested from participants prior to the event
